A Tour of LHDR HQ

We are extremely lucky to be able to run the charity HQ on the beautiful Main land of Orkney , 8 miles off the coast of Mainland Scotland. Based on a farm in Holm, HQ is a very tranquil place to live for our founder Chris and the dogs we care for.

With beaches just a stones throw away. lush paddocks to play in and country walks galore HQ is never short of a breath taking view or a happy volunteer. It really is a treat to turn up and spend the day.

So we thought we would share what we all see everyday and of course what our beloved dogs get to enjoy and experience. The power of a quiet rural environment can be a huge influnece on a dogs wellbeing. We hope you enjoy the snapshots into the life here at our Orkney HQ.
