Mission

Loving Homes Dog Rescue is dedicated to the rescue and rehoming of dogs. We are developing a network of fosterers and volunteers to enable us to increase the numbers of dogs saved.

As a Charity we rely heavily on public donations and our own savings to rescue poundies with the hope of giving them a fresh start in life and to show them that there is still love and caring in the world after their traumas. We are an all breed Rescue and we take not only the "easy" to rehome dogs but also problem cases and those requiring rehabilitation including severe abuse cases and bait/fighting dogs. We welcome staffies and bull breeds, these are at present the dogs most in need of help.

Poundies are dogs that are abused, dumped, abandoned; unwanted souls that find themselves with 7 days to live in council pounds across the UK.

Before rehoming, all our dogs are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, deflead and fully health checked. All dogs are rehomed under contract and remain the property of Loving Homes Dog Rescue for the remainder of their lives; a dual registration system is employed on the microchip ensuring that Rescue details remain on the chip alongside that of the new keeper. All dogs have a lifetime full Rescue back up. Before being released to a new keeper, we carry out a home check and match the suitability of the dogs to the potential new homes.
