Shadow
Shadow came to us as a private surrender; it was clear early on that he has not had the start in life that he deserves.
Due to this he would need to be homed with either a single person or a couple who are well versed in the breed and are willing to continue his training.
Shadow is an extremely intelligent dog who loves his ball. He is good on the lead and improves every day. He is trained to a head collar and harness.
Shadow is only young at 15 months old so there is plenty of time for him to learn and adapt into family life.
He is house trained and can be very affectionate. He is a beautiful dog with a lot of potential.
In his own words
Hello, my name is Shadow, and I really love my ball. I can take time to warm up to people, so please give me a chance, once I get there, we are friends. Children can be scary for me; they are very quick and make sudden noises which frighten me. I would like to not live with any if that's okay.
I enjoy my walks and am learning my manners. I think I am doing well.
I am a very clean boy and enjoy a brush. I won't go to the bathroom in the house, and I always go in the same spot outside so it's easy to keep clean.
I know a few commands. I know sit, stay, wait and paw. one of the humans here taught me to back up very early on as I was a little grabby with my ball, I was just excited and didn't know I was going to get it back. but now I do and back up just reminds me, and I do it and wait nicely. I do love my ball; did I mention that?
